All Around Novice Amateur - Gota Lota Frost - Debra Salemi
2012 Novice Amateur, wow never thought I'd hear that my first year out! After many years of being a horseshow mom and then being away for a while, I really didn't know quite what to expect.
Some things I didn't expect:
Taking almost 8 months to find a horse, and a green one at that! Starting to show only a few short months later. Showing hunt and liking it (even after getting dumped warming up for a class)! Meeting a great group of competitors, and calling them friends! Showing and working with an incredible group of ladies, and Marshall too!

Karen Egly, for your patience in finding the right horse for me and trying to teach 'an old dog' some new tricks! Gail Lampinen and Jim Ranthum, thanks for your patience in horse hunting too! Karen and MacKenzie Tilch, for helping put me together! Bridget and Signe Trewyn, for lending me stuff! Lynn Nannemann, for keeping me sane.
Marshall Bailey Kau, the one guy in our group-thanks for keeping me smiling! And last, but not least, we don't see you at the shows much, but thank you Larry Nannemann, without you, Frosty would not be a happy boy! Oh, almost forgot, thanks Frosty, you put up with a lot from an old woman this year!
