Leonard Berryhill-AQHA World Champion

Leonard Berryhill will be performing at the 2012 Midwest Horse Fair®. Leonard has lived in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area all his life. He grew up competing in youth events at AQHA and Palomino Horse Breeders of America shows, and he competes in everything from tie-down roping to western pleasure. Leonard has trained horses for over 30 years and has been an AQHA judge for 15 years.

Leonard and his wife of 20 years, Leigh, train and coach all-around riders and ropers from Berryhill Quarter Horses in Talala, Oklahoma. In addition, their 18-year-old son, Thompson, assists and they all work together in their family business of horse training.

As an individual, Berryhill has more Palomino World Championships than anyone. He is a multiple AQHA World Champion and Reserve World Champion in many western events, but specializes in western riding and roping events.
